• Marina Grimaz is a Global Business Partner. She built over 20 years Executive and Board level experience in Strategy, Finance, Business Development and Change management across three major cultures: US, Europe and Asia.
  • She worked for major listed companies, in key sectors such as TMT and Energy as well as Financial Services. As a Member of Executive Committees and/or a Permanent Invitee or Secretary of the Board, she operated in multicultural environments requiring strong governance.
  • From 2013 to 2016, Marina was the Global General Manager Business Planning and Analysis of Crompton Greaves (Energy), where she introduced the business finance discipline (USD 2.3 bn revenue in 2015) and optimized the working capital (€ 161 M). She also served as Secretary of the Board and Audit & Risk Committee at CG Holdings.
  • In 2012 as Business Transformation Consultant, she delivered the social media strategy for a financial service client.
  • From 2006 to 2010, she worked as Strategy and Business Development Executive reporting to the CEO of KPN Mobile International, Member of the Executive Committee of BASE, CFO Netco, Board Member of the Netco Operations and Netco Capital expenditure, and Secretary of the Board of the newly created KPN Mobile International Company. Marina was part of the team that developed the network company concept (Netco) and took on the CFO role (€ 1 bn investment) in the Netco. She was part of the team who developed and implemented the European strategy by supporting the launch of several MVNO's and by evaluating potential acquisitions (up to value € 1.3 bn). She worked on a strategy to enter the emerging markets (BRIC's & N-11).
  • From 2003 to 2005, Marina was part of the team that translated the BASE turnaround strategy into strategic and operational plans in Belgium (cash flow positive by 2004) and that worked out the “100 days transformational plan” of Eplus in Germany. Both initiatives generated a major increase in revenue growth, over €1 billion with EBITDA > 40%.
  • From 1999 to 2001, Marina was Network Economics Director and Senior Manager Corporate Strategy at EBONE, GTS, Hermes Europe Railtel.
  • From 1989 to 1999, she held several finance positions for US listed companies, (IBM, Honeywell, A.C. Nielsen, GE Capital) up to CFO Europe (a.i.) for GE Capital where she redesigned the European Finance HQ (finance foundations, systems and processes) into GE standards, using 6 sigma.
  • A certified “Corporate Governance Board Member” from INSEAD (IDP-C), Marina holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from ICHEC Brussels Management School and a certificate from the INSEAD International Executive Programme (IEP).
  • Marina is fluent in English, French and Italian.
