• Marc Van Asbroeck has more than 20 years experience in start-up companies.
  • He is currently a Managing Director of Leaderman and advisor to companies in the telecommunications and energy sector.
  • From 2005 to 2010, Marc was the Chief legal and regulatory officer of KPN Mobile International and member of the supervisory boards of e-Plus, BASE and KPN France.
  • In this period, he founded together with the French operator Bouygues Telecom the Mobile Challengers Group, a European interest group of third and fourth entrant mobile operators. The group consisted of 9 operators representing more than 80 million customers in 13 countries.
  • From 1998 to 2005, Marc was the General Counsel of BASE. He was also Head of interconnection, roaming and wholesale and Head of risk and fraud. Marc developed the companies “challenger strategy” into a comprehensive corporate affairs and communications strategy.
  • Before entering the telecommunications industry in 1998, Marc was a legal counsel with Toyota Motor Europe, the European headquarters of Toyota Motor Corporation.
  • From 1989 to 1992, Marc had a private law practice.
